Default A1c today

Had my flu shot and an A1c today. The result was 5.9 I am pleased with this. My last A1c was 6.4. So I can really see the results of low carb eating.

Thank you Vicki. Somedays it does feel like hard work. I often feel afraid to relax, especially if DH wants to eat out.
Thanks for the encouragement.

YW - one of the thing that works for me when I eat out is that I take the menu on as a challenge - and IF I can't find lo carb items, I ask them to be made so -ex: skip the bun on the burger, skip the spuds or pastas, substitute veggies and cottage cheese whenever I can. When I can, I also check the menu online before I go. It makes it so MUCH easier to be prepared.

Have a good one!!!!!!!!

Had my 2nd A1C today and was at 8.5 after being 11.9 when diagnosed 65 days ago. Your progress is inspirational!
