When you doubt a reading, always test again. I frequently get readings like 64 and get very happy. But, when I test again, its always something more realistic like 82 or 83. Meters do that fairly regularly in my experience.

I had a reading the other day that was 90 -- and I KNEW that could not be right -- so tested again. And sure enough, the next reading was more realistic. I think in this case the blood drop was not big enough. I test again if I think a reading is too high, too. But usually then the next reading is only about 10 points lower. So far the lowest readings I have gotten are in the 120 range, but I am hitting those about 2-3 times a day now.

I did test again 2 hours after I ate and it was 128, so I am inclined to believe the first number.

Started Levemir 15u at bedtime on 10-29-12
Went to 30u at bedtime 11-05-12 (per dr order)
