I miss milk the most, especially iced coffee flavoured mikl. Cold coffee is just not the same. So it will probably be my downfall. Milk used to be 2/3 of my diet before the wakeup call. One meal, lot of milk.

"Sugar, Mr Bricktop?"
"No fanks son. Ah'm sweet enough as it is."

I don't think I'd ever eat something like pasta and bread and dessert, because I know I'd feel like crap the next day for sure. My muscles get achy and I get so tired.

If I need a treat more often than that I limit it to once a week. I can't totally cut out treats because the way my brain is wired, if I did that I'd find myself at the bottom of a gallon of ice cream within a month. The people who find it easier to just omit all carby foods know that they can do that. Listen to yourself and see what feels right.
I agree with some things you say. I did not even 'cheat' on my birthday. I was treated out to some very fancy food, but stuck to the program. However there are times when I just want that extra bit of LC fruit, then my number rises to the 6's. I havent seen 7's of late, maybe once in a month, then I know and get extra careful.
