Sad. My numbers would be through the roof if I ate the starches it recommends. And fat is what keeps my from spiking really high and dropping really low!

Wow that is like the exact opposite of what we should eat!! Eat oatmeal for breakfast every day. Trim the fat off your meat, avoid high fat dairy.
Ay, yi, yi.

Yesterday I got an email from WebMD, about cholesterol. Go online and take their cholesterol quiz. Which I did quite well on. But then I read their advice about statins, and I quote "You should think of taking your statin every day just like taking your vitamin for your health". OMG!!!!!!

hi all,a quick question,yesterday the doctor told me i had high colesterol,now,is your low carb/high fat diet still good for me???????????????????????????i have only been on the diet for about 10 days now and iam starting to feel pretty good.ta ray.

Some people report their cholesterol dropping, but some don't. Someone quoted an author (maybe Dr. Bernstein?) saying to give your body six months to adjust. That's what I'm doing. I'll go for a cholesterol test in another couple of weeks.

my lipid panel said I was in the good to normal range.

trig 97
cholestrol 200

hdl 40
ldl 125
so doc flipped out & said your ## are to high ,cut back on the fat & eat lean meats. here is ascript for Lipator.




I left ,did the ff & low fat for 3 months now. today I go for new lipid tests lol can't wait to see the #####..oh & I didn't have the script filled lol

I also stocked up butter it was on sale last week & no more Ff creamer.
