Default Normal Levels but Tired and Very Dizzy

Hi Everyone,

I was diagnosed type 2 in Sept and am not on meds but have gotten my numbers down to 100-120 daily. Been doing great buts last week or so I have been extremely light-headed, tired, and a constant headache (frontal lobe), tightnes in neck and shoulders. Immediatly, when its gets very bad I check and levels are normal. I check a bunch through the day and at different times but always normal or close to 90. Is it just getting too low? I am so confused?? Ideas?

Also want to add....My fasting is always high in AM (140) but will go down within an hour of waking up. Dr knows and thinks once I lose more weight, it will go down. The only way I am NOT dizzy is laying in bed or sitting all day. Which we all know is a BIG NO for type 2 diabetics. Thanks SO much ahead of time!!!!

well my two cents...

Sounds like from what you said you need to add more fat to the diet.
I had the same symtom with good numbers as well. when I read that fat will fix no energy I started with the fat and walla...It worked for me...You may also be going through those type feelings because you have to give your bopdy time to adjust to new numbers...either way FAT will help bigtime!!! Or at least it did for me...

Keep in mind that not all symptoms relate to your diabetes. We members of club diabetes still get all the ailments of non-diabetics. Are you coming down with a cold? The flue? Do you have an ear infection? It could me many things.....
