Default Kudos to our moderators!

Our unsung heros on this forum.

We often take for granted the smooth running of this board. But the moderators are ever diligent, working behind the scene,to keep out spam and other undesirable elements - which from what I understand keeps they rather busy.

Also, I greatly appreciate the fact that they monitor the discussions and don't let threads degrade in to personal confrontations and rudness. This is a real PLUS for me - and is not always the way of other forums.

So, my thanks - and I'm sure the thanks from many others here - for your hard work and diligence in making this the most friendly and informative forum on the internet for diabetes.

rock on, ya'll!

I visit another D forum from time to time just to see if things have changed at all, and as of last night, no, they haven't. Almost every thread erupts into insults and arguments without any intervention by the moderators. We really have it good here!

This forum feels like home to me. For that I do thank all the moderators who work hard no matter what the time or day. And all our members who add their expertise to many discussions. This is a great place to learn and to connect with like-challenged people. Everyone is friendly and quick to show newbies the ropes.

I guess you could say I like it here

You're such wonderful friends and so so kind!

Yes, we've made a deliberate effort to steer away from the wars we found on other forums - that is just not a healthy environment for people coming in already in distress from diabetes.

It looks like we're on duty 24/7, and collectively we are, but it really helps that we're from far distant parts of the world - especially our resident cynic over in France!

Love you guys & thanks loads for being here with us.

I couldn't agree more. I've only been here for a month but it was very apparent from the first thread I read to the last thread I read.

As a newbie, the helpfulness and the well-informed moderators AND members who freely donate their time to help us is extremely appreciated. You don't get thanked enough, so, THANK YOU!!!

I for one welcome our moderator overlords!

You guys do a great job keeping the drama out which is a huge reason why I hang out here and not on some other "popular" forums.

Oh and I still haven't figured out when Shanny sleeps...

This is such a great place for information -- I am more of a lurker, but wanted to say a big THANK YOU to all that make this such a great place.

I'll have to agree with everyone!! This is the best diabetes forum!! And we absolutely owe that to our mods!!!

I signed up to several forums when I was first dx'd. It didn't take long to get really sick of the drama on one of the other big forums and nearly die of bordom for lack of activity on several others. I found myself here all the time and only check in rarely with two of the others.
