Default Colonoscopy & sugar

I'm having a colonoscopy on Friday and the nurse went over the prep with me that I'm doing on Thursday (all day), I was given a list with 'white grape juice, chicken bouillon, Gatorade , ginger ale, sprite, Mountain Dew, ect... Well, does anyone have any good alternatives to these things? I'm very intolerant of additives in artificial sweeteners, like phenylalanine, adds to depression, yuck!
Soon to be 60
Lc/nc, hf diet is wrecking havoc on my diverticulitis and surgeon is doing a safety inspection before moving on to bowel resection. Has anyone had that surgery and did you feel better afterwards??
Thanks...!

Not the surgery but did have to empty "the place" for a couple of examinations. If I fast I stick with water, coffee, tea and vegetable broth. Only need to drink something carby if bg-levels drop too low. Not sure what type you are so don't know if that last applies to you. Good luck with it
