Glad to read this!

So are you back on track with replacement T4, yet?

I had an acquaintance who went 3 MOS, without replacement, for chemo ... uuuugh.

Thanks everyone. I really appreciate it.

I have started Levothyroxine. Just a starting dose of .100 right now. I have blood tests at the end of the month for my first adjustment.

Everything turned out great regarding the cancer. The surgeon said that the cancer cells were the size of a peanut. He said that they decided that the RAI was not necessary as the cancer was isolated to one area and had not metastasized. He said everything looked great and got me on hormone replacement as soon as they had the pathology results. I have suffered no side effects as of now and am feeling stronger every day. I am sleeping at night again as well. I can actually lay down and fall asleep and I wake up full of energy ready for the day. I missed that so much. I used to be a morning person. It was my favorite part of the day.

I am really excited for the future. I have goals again that aren't centered around my health. Still have those goals also but for the first time in a while I have things I want to do. First is to give my wife a break. She has bore the brunt of all this. While I have been weak she has been strong. She has carried the family on her shoulders and its time for her to get some R&R. I have decided to buy her a new car. She sacrificed and gave up her nice new car so I could buy my race car. Her birthday is at the end of the month so I want to park the new(used as I will never buy new again) Volvo XC90 she has always wanted in the garage for her to stumble upon. Then it is back to the track to try and get my class championship back.

Shanny, moon and silvertiger like this.

So glad to hear the news! And, like others said, you don't need to apologize for "dumping"!
