I will die owing for cable lol. I am a huge gamer, PS3, XBox, PC's, got them all and play them all. I like TV, stream music channels, have my IPad setup to run as remotes for the 3 TV's in the house and I can stream live TV though the IPad too when in the kitchen and have extra speakers to plug into the IPad when in the kitchen, soooooo geeked out at my house!!!

While I don't game, I'm like MAO, with major technology at my house. Only one cable provider around here and its expensive. I'd probably shut off the TV except for streaming Netflix and just have high-speed Internet but that the cable company makes it cheaper to have both. Also use cable for long distance phone.

I think cable is ridiculously expensive. I stayed at my mom's house in between apartments and while she had cable I rarely watched it. When I moved into my new apartment 2 years ago I didn't bother and went without since my TV was a little older and could not get the digital channels.

I use netflix on my xbox and my android phone. I download tv shows or watch them on the networks website. I have done trials for hulu plus and amazon streaming. There are also a few smaller free ones on xbox like epic and crackle.

I only recently added it because Time Warner ran a special that I could up my internet to a higher tier AND add very basic cable (and I mean like 20 channels) for only $20 a month. I did it mostly for the internet upgrade the TV is just a bonus as I only watch it a few times a month.
