Default Glucomannan Powder Question

I just purchased a bag of glucomannan powder and want to make a lemon meringue pie. I have always made them from scratch using a recipe that is baked into a ceramic pie plate my mother-in-law gave me about 30 years ago. I want to sub gluc powder for the1/4 cup of cornstarch. The only liquid in the recipe is 1 cup water and 1/2 cup lemon juice. Once that is thickened, you add 4 egg yolks, which would thicken it a little more. I understand that gluc powder has powerful thickening power so I don't want to use too much. Any recommendations on how much gluc powder I should use? I know it would just be a guess, but I have never used it before, so if you have, I figure your guess is a lot better than mine.

This blurb says 1 tsp. glucomannan thickens one cup liquid. Good luck!

I'll be making it tonight, so I'll know tomorrow. If it's any good, I'll post the recipe. If not, I'll keep trying until I get it right.
