I like that finger-snapping thing! Got a great drop using it this morning ... but it is warm out, here ... need to try when it is COLD, too!

Ditch the alcohol pad. As CD said, it's going to make your skin tough over time. If you wash your hands before bed, you'll be fine. Also, many people find that the blood flow is the best in the little finger and ring finger. It may just take a bit of finger swappin' to determine which has the best blood flow. The place matters too. Many people find that testing on the side of the pad produces the best flow. For me, it's the pad itself but before the side. It's really just testing around to see which spots are the best. Trust me, within several weeks time, you'll know exactly the spots that are best. It will definitely come with time.
