I can't throw any stones at you, I'm afraid!

The way I see it, there are 2 bright sides here:

1. Every time we fall off the D-Wagon, it stops patiently so we can get back on. As long as we do get back on for the long haul, it's gonna be OK.

2. Accidents happen, too. Restaurants change up recipes on us, we get stranded on a trip, we take a big gulp of the wrong drink. Incidents like this one teach us how to handle them.

You'll be fine.

Oh, you are preaching to the choir! You are lucky that pizza only brings you to 160 from a nice 94. The fantastic thing is that you Know how many days it will take to stabilize your blood sugar. Now, that's cause for celebration--the obvious result of hard work! Nice!

^^^ TTM was the one who was brave enough to test, not me. I don't wanna know! I was running high today anyway, I guarantee I will wake in the morning with a 180.

I agree with what the others have said. It happened, move on. None of us are perfect, and I'd have a hard time believing that no one in this forum slips now and again with their diet. We can't always be perfect, and we shouldn't expect ourselves to be. There's so much pressure with a diagnosis like this alone, to deal with, without the added pressure of thinking or believing that we'll never, ever slip. It's just not realistic. You'll be just fine.

no one is beating me with a wet noodle... well then again that would be a grain so even better that you are not because i might eat it.

no one is going to at me because we are all in this race to win against D not beat each other up although i have come to see (even in my short time here) that many of you will respectfully scold and correct when needed

is now a big huge no no because it could take days for me to get back to where i need to be.

oh and if you all could not tell I like smilies and the new cleaner page they are on is nice

Yes, testing is what we need to do, it's just sometimes I know it is going to be high, but I don't want to know how high, KWIM?

My bender left me with a 192 this morning, I hate to think how high I was last night. :-( I was up all night with a fever and headache though, that probably didn't help.

Back to the beginning for me! I'm glad you didn't suffer too bad an effect from your pizza.
