Angry Almost made a huge mistake

I was making myself a cup of coffee. I had my daughter get me my vanilla davinci syrup. I was just about to open it up for the first time when I noticed the words "pure cane sugar" I am so glad I looked. I apperantly bought the wrong stuff. That little mess up not only would have been an expensive mess up it it would have messed up my BG for days.

Good catch! I probably wouldn't have noticed until too late.

I went to the market to exchange the syrup and get some pre cooked rotisserie chicken for supper. I can't eat another steak! I get all the way there and realize I forgot the syrup! Ugh! Well I looked to see if I could pick up the sugar free vanilla and they did not have any. On the shelf label it said "zc van dav" but the only thing on the shelf was full sugar.

This kind of thing is so easy to do. I fancied a rum and Pepsi Max and knew the rum would lower my problematic blood sugar (see endo next week Yay). Well one thing led to another and I had 3. When I checked my blood sugar was19 (oer 300). Panic, thirsty, a little unwell so go to the fridge for water and what do I see? "normal" Pepsi not sugar free. Took me 2 days to even come close to bringing that back in order. So lucky I didn't drink the rest gien how thirsty I was. Lesson learnt.

Easy to do! Especially when the packaging is very similar, such as Pepsi and Pepsi Max..btw love Pepsi Max closest thing to the real taste of Pepsi I've found.
