108 again. I have no words or ideas. Oh well. It is still in range. Time to drink my coffee and get ready for church.

FBS: 102 mg/dl

This is very interesting to me because 18 months ago I used my highly inaccurate differential fuzzy math ( calculated horse feathers ) to estimate that I still had at least a capability of producing 18 U of insulin and this would be enough to supply my basal needs if I eliminated my insulin resistance.

This reading is after 36 hours of no basal insulin and is the same reading that I get when I use basal insulin. I also ate 243 total grams carbs yesterday ( with bolus of 1 unit insulin per 10 carbs ).

But as BountyMan has noted, this may last 3 days, 3 weeks, or longer and then require basal insulin again.

128 yesterday morning, breakfast bumped me up to 131 about 1 hour later. Piddled around doing some outside chores then did about 20 minutes of free weights (feeling it this morning too). Came in and was 151. Came in, ate lunch, tested an hour and a half later and was down to 110. Ate late, about 9:30pm, had 103 before, didn't test after. Woke up with a 115 (6.4) this morning.

Hard to believe it was such a struggle to bench press what I used to warm up with, but it was 20-25 years ago the last time I lifted the weights.

Love the calculated horsefeathers! heehee! And tell Bountyman we'd like to have him back. The issue that cause his departure is gone.
