Here's a calculation site for conversion, so you can check yours for yourself.
My dx was 58 mmol/mol and converted HbA1c 7.4570. I suppose that the SI units (mmol/mol) standard will be implemented world wide. This is the converter I found:
HbA1c Units Converter - DCCT to IFCC
Now quickly away to a birthday party. Don´t think I´ll have a big piece of the big cake anyway, but perhaps a quite tiny bit

After fighting to stay in bed and asleep I finally caved.

Slightly higher than before at 97 (5.4) but acceptable.

Have a nice Saturday everyone!

I slept badly and fought to go back to sleep, but finally gave up and had another 99 today. Memorial service for my good friend today.

Well done, Hans!

Thank you Patdart! Home right now from the birthday party and some potatoes, fried chicken, meat and a small piece of cake. Now 1,5 hours after the meal only 4.6. Expected a higher figure.

7.7 this morning and 7.6 last night after dinner

I only had a little challah, because it's traditional on Shabbos and hey! I made the darn thing!! but I only had the bit after the blessing and a small bit after. Chicken soup with carrots and sweet potato. No Noodles this time and no "croutons" for me either. Dinner was a premise Costco chicken and veggies. No starch with dinner - and not one complaint.

I found this one - ok, it's British but it seems simpler for the conversion: Change to HbA1c values - Diabetes UK

Can't say I like the rather badly rounded off reference ranges it quotes though!
That'll teach me to trust Google without testing it on a known value! Thanks, John.

4.3 this morning, that's better! It's been raining since yesterday afternoon, not heavily but constantly. 125mm (5 inches) in the gauge this morning.

4.6 and very heavy rain here too, badly needed for gardens & tanks so very welcome, plus gives me an excuse to stay indoors, light the fire & read a good book
