5.2 this morning and just below freezing point.

Freya and Tish, the very distinct variations in climate during the year is something you learn to appreciate. Waking up and looking out on a white scenery (called snow) is just nice.

143 this morning.

Dermatologist yesterday was a waste of time/money - left with a bag full of OTC sample moisturizers. Yet another autoimmune problem, I'm told. Guess this gets added to the list of things that might go away sometime.

Lots of cold here, but no snow yet. Could be icy this morning; may get to try out the "crawl" feature on my new car's transmission.

Glad to see you're ok, Hans!

@Hans - We aren't getting much of the storm in Stockholm. Only a dusting of snow so far and the winds have picked up, dropping the temperature to -4°C. It's still not over but I doubt it's going to get much worse here.

A 5.3 to start this morning which is the lowest it's been in a couple of weeks. Whatever was causing my higher numbers now seems to have passed through my system. Now, if I only knew what it was so I could avoid it.

@Tish - Congrats on the win!

@Tamagno - Do what's best for you and nobody else!

@JudyinFrance - Ewww!

An 88 (4.9) this morning. 28F (-2.3C) being mostly sunny, lows getting below freezing, and 20% or less chance of precipitation thru next Friday.

Think I've had this since 2003. Told I was Type 2 lean on 2/13/12.

87 (4.8?) this morning. Highest FBG during Thanksgiving break was a whopping 97 (5.4), 5 pounds gained, 2.4 of those gone. I didn't cheat exactly, maybe got up to 38 total carbs max instead of the allotted 30. But I ate late and I ate A LOT. Ouch!!

Weird. 76 for me today.

Guess eating a double helping if the brownies and a fat bomb muffin really did the trick

111 today. Not bad, considering it's a weekend and I slept a few hours later than I do during the week. Cold and snow here. We're supposed to get bombarded with snow this coming week.

A1C result from NP visit yesterday is 5.7. The past several times, it has bounced between 5.6 to 6.4. As long as its below about 6.5, I am happy. I mentioned about cutting metformin to scale back a bit. The NP thought it was a terrible idea (but was very nice about it). She's concerned that I will go right back up, since my BG seems to be a bit touchy. She suggested against doing anything until I see the doc. again in Feb.

- Welp, everyone have a great day!
