80 (4.4) this sunny cool morning with wispy clouds in the sky. 79 (4.37) at bedtime.

Feeling somewhat better today and numbers seem to reflect that. Taking it easy today.

@Tish, I have to constantly watch myself that I don't overdo. I think this "issue" is my body telling me to slow down!! Love the car!

@Hans, as always your photos are awesome!

@Tamagno, I hope you can get this sorted quickly and find something that works for your pain and doesn't cause more problems. I worry about you falling and really hurting yourself badly. Take care.

Tamagno and tish like this.

4.8 this morning.

Thank you all so much for your congratulations - it really is a special time becoming a grandparent. Now all we need is a name for the little fellow. Both my son and DIL are teachers and I think the problem is that over the years the exposure to so many children's names brings with it so many connotations! Who can't help be reminded of the insufferable so-and-so in the classroom each time we meet someone with the same name!

I promise not to make this a granny brag book but I wanted to post one last pic to demonstrate what a wonderful daddy my son will be. He gave baby his first bath in hospital. I think it's wonderful that dads these days are so hands-on.

Keep on bragging! I love the pics that you post! I hope i live long enough to see my grandkid. I dream about my son being so big that i feel suffocated in his big bear hug. I am tiny and my husband is tall so fingers crossed he is as tall as him!

95 today morning. Out of 4 members in my house (including me), 3 are sick (including me again!). My son is thankfully better but my grandmom is (better than yday) but still very sick and has a lot of weakness with high fever. I have such a sore throat that i have lost my voice completely!

Had to take my granny and my son to doctor yday. They are better- I feel sick

5.8 (105) on this warm summery morning. I think the strawberries I ate late last night has to do with my higher number. They're huge and I prefer the big ones, but its too much evidently.

Barbara, we're inclined to ignore warning signs, but it catches up in the end. Glad you're resting more. Feel better soon.

Freya, the 'new' dad is marvellous. My late husband could hardly boil water.
My cousin lives in Sydney and she just sent me pictures of the tulip flower show down in Canberra-Floriade. Its beautiful.

Tamagno, You're coping with so much. I hope you find the answer and medication to sort out the problem. I get scared with what you tell us. Hope you feeling better already.

161 this morning.

Starting a new drug this week generally given for seizures, etc., Oxyvarbazepine by name.

Barbara and Tish, your words are kind, but be assured I've little mass and tend to bounce when I fall - a blessing. I can always get a stylish cane if necessary as my clumsiness continues to worsen. Hopefully a side effect of drugs.

For what its worth, the gabapentin did not touch the neuropathy pain, but did worsen my vision - not especially happy with that!

In any event, I retain the possibility of improvement and, Freyagirl, enjoyed very much the photo! Please more!
