I agree. I started counting again because I am really susceptible to carb creep. I've been keeping it somewhere between 13-19 per day for a few weeks now and feel great! I realized that when I don't count grams, they start adding up really, really fast. I don't do anything complicated. I just keep a running total throughout the day.

92 for me today. Hopefully now that the holidays are past and I can get back on my normal sleep schedule the weird readings will go away.

Now what you guys want is an automatic counter. I've got one but don't tell her I said so! ;-)

lol ... very true, John. I totally keep it as simple as I can by using the calculator on my phone to add carbs. You, however, have an even simpler system!

I use myfitnesspal to keep track of my carbs. With LCHF diet, do you gain weight?

Billi,

I can comment only on my own case. In six months of LCHF diet I lost thirty pounds taking me from 15 pounds into the "overweight" BMI range right into the middle of "normal". Diet didn't change and my weight has stayed much the same for the last three years.

So, weight gain - not my experience. And in passing, I wasn't trying to lose weight.

That's awesome John! My big concern is weight gain since I'm overweight already.

61 (3.37) this morning, 68 (3.77) at bedtime last night.

No snow here, 28įF and that is about as high as it will get today. Wind is blowing so it feels a lot colder. We aren't due for more snow until sometime next week. Stay safe and warm all of you in areas getting pounded by the bad weather!

Need to get going and run some errands.

I also lost weight. Since I recently cut carbs again further for blood sugar control (about two weeks ago), I am now starting to again lose weight.
