It does that sometimes. I think the liver's part in BG control is the big culprit behind this. I can't seem to keep its glycogen stores depleted.

Well, at least we know our livers are doing what they're supposed to do! Unlike our pancreases.

108 this morning. Even after 6 months of LCHF and being in dietary ketosis my liver still has plenty of glucose to dump every morning. I don't think I want to have my protein any lower and my ratios are around 5%-80%-15%. I take 2000mg Metformin also. I have never had any success trying to eat something like cheese or bacon to halt DP. Even breakfast doesn't stop a rise in bg. My morning numbers are normally the highest and go down during the day. I'm not really worried about it though as my overall bg is still good and stays under 120. My 30 day average is 105 and I test 7-8 times a day. Like we always say, everyone is different, and I sure am.

64 (3.54) this clear morning, 77 (4.26) at bedtime.

38F and just a few wispy clouds in the sky. High supposed to be 43F but doubt if it will make it. No weather coming our way for a while.

LOL! I should have said bad weather I guess. No rain, snow or high winds for the next 7-10 days. I like the snow and want to see the ground white this time of year.

3.6 this morning.

Slept like the proverbial log. Probably exhaustion from not sleeping the night before.

Another 45C forecast for us here today. Last day of it with a cool change expected later tonight.

Hans, Jormantha, common sense finally prevailed and the tennis centres' roofs were closed yesterday afternoon and the outdoor matches suspended. About time too!

Over 40 fires currently burning uncontained across the State. Strong winds forecast for this afternoon will increase their ferocity. Praying that no lives will be lost.

Stay safe Freya! I've been through some pretty bad fires when I lived in Colorado. It's a very frightening thing
