A 5.4 for me this morning. We signed all the papers on that first cottage I showed all of you a while back so now it's ours.

@Tamagno - Deep breaths!

Tamagno you know that your wife's stress is born out of concern for your welfare. It would be worse if she didn't care. As CD advises, deep breaths, getting stressed yourself will not help anything.

Dude, congratulations on finalising the purchase of your cottage. You both must be very excited.

CD - was that the woodsy one?

70 this morning after a terrible night of sleeping. I get so irritated. The back of our home gets hotter than the front when the hallway door is closed. It's a heating vent thing we've never fixed. Our home was built in 1958 and the furnace is probably 30-40 years old. So, we have to keep the door closed, however, on the nights that my husband falls asleep in the front on the couch watching TV because his snoring is so awfully loud that it wakes my son up, all the way in the back of the house if it's open.

It turned into a terrible night. I ended up covering half the vents and turning down the heat and it was still hot. As I am up now, I have the pleasure of listening to my husband snore even louder, as my office is in part of the front living room/TV room.

Grrrr. I even saw my son tossing and turning because of how hot it was, and he's got to be attentive at school all day. Frustrated. Thanks for listening.

BTW, DLC, it's great to see you posting your numbers! It's also encouragement for me when I post here, too.

Mary, how do you resist the urge to sneak up behind him and tweak his nostrils closed?

Thanks Freya, you made me laugh. I so needed it today. The thought of duct tape across his nose did cross my mind a time or two, but I figured it would upset him.

Omg that's hysterical although it would be hard to stand there looking innocent as he peeled duct tape off his face.

97 - the upward trend continues. Increasing joint pain from weather making it harder to sleep well. There is definitely something in the air causing problems for so many of us. Hope we all find better days ahead!

I would definitely have rousted him out & closed the door! It's awful trying to get any sleep in such heat. (this from the old lady who just slept eight solid hours in a very cold bedroom!) He must be a terror when he gets upset, eh?

It's crazy. I have bugged him for years and years to seek medical attention because he obviously has a problem. He's got this mindset that since he's always snored this loudly and at times holds his breath when he does (making it even louder), that there's nothing seriously wrong with him and nothing's going to happen to him. It seriously makes me want to scream. It's beyond stressful, especially when I think of how close he and our son are. It would just be devastating beyond all comprehension if ... well, you know.
