5.2 this morning. A persistent wind blowing through the open fields down here in Skåne. Overcast and just below freezing point. No sun for at least a week. Feels freezing cold. Sitting at the library in nearby Kävlinge and just had a sandwich (had half of the bread) with a topping of herring at the library cafe. In a better mood now, easy to get a slight attack of that typical Nordic melancholy in this gloomy weather.

4.5!!!! I went to bed at 4.1. Well, 3.8, but I thought that couldn't be right, so I rechecked and got 4.1.

Had Bloodwork today, so my A1c should be back in a few days!

135 this morning. 5f outside now with wind chill of -15f and 16 inches of snow (knee deep) -- out to shovel now -- this is one way of getting my BG low -- shovel for 2 hours...

105 this morning. The good news is that an hour and a half later I tested before breakfast and it was 107. Often my bg continues to rise after fasting and will hit 120 or so. When it doesn't I stay low for the rest of the day. Carbs and protein were lower than usual yesterday, something to keep in mind.

I had a fitful sleep last night and woke with a start at 98. Wonder if they are related?

69 for me this morning. Up early and out to shovel a foot of snow. Checked after about an hour of shoveling not when I was out of bed as usual. Looks like the exercise lowered my morning test.

76 (4.2) this cool foggy morning, 69 (3.8) at bedtime.

(((Tamagno))) You give me great insight into how my DH was feeling as he was declining. Hang in there, she loves you and she's scared and wants to do anything she can to keep you as long as she possibly can.

@Mary, hope the little one bounces back quickly.

Stay warm and safe all of you in the path of the polar vortex.

This morning was 70. Over the last 7 days my morning blood sugar is averaging 90. Hoping that it will be enough to drop the small amount of insulin that I am currently on. Diet does wonders!

I had a 100 this am. Today the inversion continues, they say for maybe another week. Low's in the 20's F and highs in the 30's F.
