6.4 today - that's a bit better. All day meeting offsite today with morning/afternoon tea supplied, plus lunch out (Asian Restaurant I think) so that will be interesting. Will take some nuts with me in case there's nothing suitable.

4.1 this morning.

Another beautiful morning with expected top temp of 30C.

Will have to rake the leaves in the garden today - looks a bit like Autumn. The trees shed a lot of leaves to cope with the heat of last week. Even the Australian native trees which is unusual.

5.6 for me this morning. A late dinner did me in last night and will do so again tomorrow morning. No getting around it with the last of the retake exams occurring this week and next before the Spring Semester begins.

I swear that there is some mystical little island hidden halfway between Sweden and Australia where the temperatures from both regions average out to +20C thus creating an idyllic life for anyone lucky enough to stumble upon it. I sense a road trip!

Hans, that Nordic Melancholy often hits those of us in the southern states of Australia pretty hard in the winter. After three seasons of lots of sunshine the dark days of winter often brings on a case of SAD - Seasonal Affective Disorder. Unfortunately one of the symptoms, increased carb cravings, is something diabetics have to be mindful of.

FBG 7.1

I think I'll bow out of this club (I just joined sheesh!) until my FBG are looking better.

Don't do that DLC, as has been said before many of us have been where you are. It's not a competition, entering our FBGs is a motivating factor, no one is judgemental.

You will see a decrease in your numbers but it takes time. When you think about how long it took to be at this number - probably years - you can't expect it to miraculously drop like a stone.

Hang in there girl and keep posting.

And, I've just read your other thread and you've got an infection and are on antibiotics! This will give you higher readings as has been pointed out. Hope it clears up soon x

Thanks Freya ♥

I didn't want to bring this thread down, it should be a whoohooo! place that reflects all the hard work people have put into bringing their numbers down.

But I'll be back and hopefully with respectable numbers soon!

DLC...don't leave it. Mine today was right with yours (7.0). So don't go anywhere.
