Take care DLC, here's hoping that this outbreak (is that the word for it?) is mild and short lived.

Don't hesitate to get to the A&E if need be x

5.5 this morning and paying a price having sandwiches and also some chips for the first time since diagnosis. No good, back on the wagon again. Still below freezing point and this night down to -10 C and up north around -30 C. Days are getting longer, but the sun has been hidden behind clouds for more than a week.

220 this morning.

Still increasing basal rates but I've not hit it yet. The extra insulin causes my feet and hands to swell.

The best bacon I've ever had was in Germany where they know meat. Thick and fatty bacon with great flavor. They also serve steaks with butter on top. I always passed on the sheep's head, however, as the eyes put me off.

A 118 (6.6) this morning. Didn't eat anything to cause it but did not drink enough water yesterday or take benadryl last night and woke up with head full of snot.

99--succumbed to potatoes again. Can't continue to be so immature about what I eat. I've stocked the fridge and pantry with plenty of good things to snack on, so I really have no excuse.

On the bright side, a sunny day with a high of 20F is better than an average New England day.

113 today.

Tamagno - that's my favorite way to eat steak. It is very delicious.
Sunny here, near freezing temps. Looks like an inside day.

88 got me today.

Can't wait for that to be the temp as well, although by weeks end we are supposed to have temps in the 70s.

T and Mary...I have a small bowl of melted with my steak. Cut a piece, drop it in and let it soak for a min or two. YUMMY! Also the time allowed for soaking helps me keep portion size down so a double bonus.

I add fresh, super-fine romano cheese into my butter every now and then. It's soooo good.
