You would think a 10 unit increase of Lantus would make a more dramatic change but i find the change is not linear. Anyway, I had got up to 60 units and just decided to drop to 50 on my own.

After I settle my BGs I will probably try lowering in smaller increments going forward like 2 units a week.

94 this morning. Still in double digits so I'm pretty happy about that. In Laughlin, NV this weekend so all meals are at restraunts. I did pretty good last time so I hope I can do well this time. Going to have fun anyway.

62 (3.43) again this morning, 77 (4.26) at bedtime.

The saga continues:
My neighbor came over and crawled under the house, turns out the heat tape at the main had been unplugged. (Probably by the trainee the plumber had the last time he was here.) Neighbor plugged it in and in a few minutes I had water! Brown rusty water with bits of gunk in it! And the pipes in my laundry room wall were banging like crazy.

After all that, finally the Water4U guy shows up. Turns out that the pipe going to the pressure tank is still frozen in the pump house. He redirected the heater to blow on that and said it should thaw in a couple of hours. He said the gauge was kind of wonky, but maybe just because of the blockage. He did say that because I had water into the house there is probably no problems at that end and once the pipe thaws, I should be fine. He turned the water off and I have to go out and check it in an hour and see if I get water w/out all the thumping. If I do, I'm golden, if not, I'm not! I have to check back with W4U either way. I have about 1/2 hour to go before checking, wish me luck!!

At least it is warmer, 28įF today, we had another couple of inches of snow overnight and it is still lightly snowing, so I am going to do a little shoveling when I get all geared up to go out to check the pump. I tell ya, this has been an exhausting few days!! I really can't wait to have a real shower!! Marine showers only satisfy for so long!

@Tamagno, looking better!

@Mary, at least you see the pattern, and can ride it out.

Have a great weekend everyone!!

What a saga GrammaB!

30C at 7am! Cooler change on the way. In the meantime it's very windy!

5.5 this morning - happy with that!

A happy 86 this morning! it's a bit warmer today. I have had enough -32 F days for this year, but guess more is on the way.

Good readings, Tamagno…things seem to be getting better.

GrammaB, hope things 'normalize' soon at your house.

Got a bit of snow yesterday which is a treat here.

3.9 this morning.

Hot and windy with a cool change expected around lunchtime.

James, did you see Sage Kotsenburg win the snowboard slope style event?

Barb hope the water woes are nearly over.

Sandra, numbers coming down beautifully.

6.3

At least it's coming down a little.

GrammaB I bet when you're able to finally have a proper shower you'll be singing!

Mary I feel for you! When you work so hard to control this D thing but your numbers don't reflect that hard work .. it's frustrating and a little disheartening. I hope it gets better soon.

Gusty northerlies (that's a disgusting hot wind blowing straight down from the desert). They 'promised' a cool change in the morning now it's been updated to noon. I'm trying not to get too excited.
