Late to post. 65 (3.6) this morning, 73 (4.0) at bedtime.

Another 5-6" of snow overnight. Woke up to a few clouds in the sky, now it is crystal clear out. (Going to be cold tonight.) Shoveled everything and hopefully will not have to again for a few days.

You sound a bit stressed and your child may be picking up on that. Do you have a cat or dog? Sit with your boy and pet the pet for a while. I know from experience that a purring cat will calm anybody down.

98 today morning. Our manager is here from Houston since yday and we are taking him out for lunch at nice places for both days. Yday was a nice lunch but i made sure to have some steamed tofu with lemon garlic dressing (awesome!) before the actual meal. That ensured that i dont overeat the noodles and other stuff. Have to get through today too. Am making sure i exercise even if i just want to hit the bed as soon as my son sleeps.

Freyagirl- i cant thank u enough for that long note. I guess it was just one of those days when he was clingy. He was his usual self today and did need my attention but not excessively. I hope he starts walking soon. Its getting more and more difficult to carry him around. He took his first steps but is still not a confident walker.

JT Reagen- yes i have a dog and usually that works but yday just nothing did.

i just posted on facebook yday that i plan to have a cappuccino for every tough day my son gives me. And if he reimburses me for all of them when he grows up, i have my retirement plan in place

Looks like the mountains are going to divert the worst of the weather around us.

Paulomi, I never had children. But my siblings and friends did. Every one of them felt like that. But now those children are young adults making good lives for themselves and sharing with their parents great love and respect. It is human for you to feel frustration - the toddler years can be very hard. Feeling this does not make you a bad mother. It just shows you are tired from dealing with a whirlwind.

5.2 this morning. Warm winds and even a risk that the 90 km long ski race Vasaloppet will be cancelled on Sunday. Wet snow and floating water on parts of the trail.

119 today.

My boy's itching for Spring vacation even though they have several weeks to go (it starts April 17th). All of the kids are getting anxious around here for the nice weather even though there's still no warm-up reported on the horizon. We're still in the teens and 20's each day. We made it above 30 for only a few days. I am getting a bit of cabin fever myself. I sorely need to have the windows open in the house, to let the fresh air in. Missing it!

Everyone have a great week. Hope it's going well for you.

230 this morning. High BGs seem to coincide with constipation. Wish I could achieve moderation in something! My attempts at being extremely moderate have also proven fruitless.

Cold again here, but no snow yet. Hoping to avoid any further snow this season.

Only a few more days until March break. Wild children mean difficult classes. I doubt much will be accomplished this week.

SNAP! on your number, Hans! Finally I get a lower number (5.2) back down where it should be. I guess it's my blood's birthday gift to me

I highly doubt Vasaloppet will run this time around. The course is an absolute mess and there would be too great a chance for injury.

CD, good your number is down this morning and happy birthday! Well, if the run really will take place it will be very tiresome. Probably soaking wet feet, blisters on the heels, ski poles sinking deep down in the wet snow and hard to adapt the right ski wax. My brother has participated three times and although well prepared the last time and good skiing conditions, he was totally exhausted when he reached the goal after nearly 9 hours of skiing.
