79 (4.37) this snowy morning, 81 (4.48) at bedtime. Woke with a headache I can't seem to get rid of.

Snowed steadily all morning, now starting to lessen. (About 2 or 3" of new snow.) 21F right now, heading for a high of 32F and a low of 29F. Then next week we warm up to the low 40's and the melting begins. Have to get the garbage out to the road so once again will be shoveling.

4.0 this morning.

A sunny 27C forecast for this Monday, 3rd March.

A deep, long sleep last night. Ocean literally 'roaring', better than any sleeping pill.

Frances, hope that sore throat is short lived and you feel better soon. Lots of gargling with salty water?

Hans, your legs seem to be bothering you a lot a night - what can you do besides eating when you are awake in the small hours? An old Scottish remedy is called a "hot toddy'. A small amount of whiskey in a large glass of hot water. This might be worth trying?

Freya I feel so envious of your beachy lifestyle. In 5 weeks I will have 11 nights in a house in Apollo Bay - also listening to the waves crashing. I can't wait!

This is great news for those with fibro or who have loved ones suffering with it. I can imagine it's different for everyone but hope is always a good thing.

6.9 after 4 hours sleep. Then I went back to bed to have another 4 hours.

I applied for 2 weeks leave starting the day of my Endo appointment. That way, if I am LADA and need to start on insulin I can start on a day when I'm not having to work.

I look and feel exhausted, pale and walking like an old woman with arthritis. People at work are starting to ask questions.

I'm still waiting for the control solution to arrive even though they said it would arrive last week. I'm basically an optimistic person but I admit I've been struggling these last few weeks. I need something wonderful to happen or for things to start moving or maybe I need to just stop whinging and appreciate the good things.

Decisions ... decisions lol

Have a wonderful day

Don't lose your optimism or your wonderful sense of humour DLC, things will improve.

I'm glad that you're having some leave, you need some healing time.

Take Care x

It looks like the mountains are going to deflect the worst of the storm north of us.

DLC, look for something wonderful. When you need it, it could just happen.
