92 for me this morning. This is the weather I love in N. La. It'll be too hot soon.

Good luck, Tamagno!

Me too.

It's all good - we recently expanded our practice this year and thought we were well-prepared for the increased volume. We have three CPA's and a full support staff now handling over 6,000 returns this year and somehow we thought that would be a good idea. Perhaps we were all in a drunk stupor somewhere, when we agreed to the buyout of another firm. Yeah, it's special.

- Hoping things settled down for you throughout the day.

77 (4.26) this morning, 80 (4.4) at bedtime. Had a Michelob Ultra with my left over corned beef and cabbage for dinner last night. Didn't do too much damage. I forgot one on the 17th, can you believe that? Forgot beer???

Partly cloudy, partly sunny, it is about 43įF with a supposed high of 48, but I doubt we'll hit that. May be a change coming, will believe it when I see it (rain/snow tonight).

@Hans, congrats on the new car!
@Tamagno, I hope you can get things in control and not suffer any bouncing!
@Mary, I took my paperwork to my preparer yesterday and the place was really quiet. Very unusual, then on the way back I noticed a new CPA has opened up shop in town, maybe that is why business is down at my place..... The new place is closer to me so if a change is coming that may be a good thing I guess. I know how frazzled I get all by myself at tax time, I can't imagine how you do it!!!

I was just talking to my Mom, who lives in central Texas, about how warm it was yesterday. She was thrilled that it was in the high 80s. I was appalled. I like a real spring, followed by a nice summer, not six months of sweat and dead grass. The last time I was there at Easter, it was 100 degrees with no breeze. I just don't know how you do it.
