5.3 pretty happy with that. Ate out at the pub last night - grilled salmon fillet with hollandaise sauce with veggies, no potatoes. I was unsure how much fat I was going to be able to have with dinner so at about 4.30pm I had some stras, cheese and almonds.

Everyone else has ice creams for dessert. I had one bite of my son's Golden Gaytime - haven't tasted one of those in a zillion years!

Late to post. 75 (4.15) this sunny morning, 82 (4.5) at bedtime.

We hit a high of 69įF today, virtually no wind so the pollen wasn't so bad. Tomorrow I will be cutting suckers from the trees and do some raking. Need to remember to take my Claritin!!

3.9 (70.2) this morning.

Cool day with showers expected, top temp forecast 22C (72F).

Pat, your Spring array of blooms sounds wonderful.

I didn't want to freak myself out testing this morning. I ended up taking a total of 40mg of pred yesterday. I feel better on the higher dose. I'm puffing away on Ventolin, drinking hot cups of camomile tea, inhaling steam and taking mega doses of Vitamin C.

I hope all the Spring time snifflers and snufflers enjoy a low pollen count today!

I'm feeling antsy (ants in me pants). I'm on hols and I want to go out and have some fun but I've made myself (and my daughter who came over for dinner last night) a promise to stay home and rest for the next few days. The fact that it hasn't stopped raining for the last 48 hours and looks like continuing for the next week makes it a little easier to be content to alternate between bed and the sofa.

Have a great day/sleep

Remember, Rest and Recuperation before Recreation.

Get those antsy pants on the sofa, curl up with the cats and snooze this rainy day away.

SNAP! A 5.3 for me as well. And now I'm craving a grilled salmon fillet too! Bad Sandra!

Haha! CD, it was very very nice - crispy skin too!

DLC you must keep those promises, and glad you didn't put yourself under pressure to test. It sounds like the meds are what you need right now and plenty of couch potato time!

I'm not getting any rest so far lol.

Had to get out of my jammies to drop into the local shopping centre to pick up a few supplies and promptly had a mild asthma attack in the middle of the centre. I think it was brought on by going out in the cold then hitting the centre's aircon. Then I got home, had two phone calls from tradesmen, had another asthma attack but it's under control and now I'm waiting for the plumber to arrive. He said 2:30pm, it's now 2:40pm. When a tradesman says 'oh around 2:30' it actually means "any time from 2:30 to 7pm possibly today".

*update* I really should stop being so cynical. The plumber arrived and he was worth waiting for What a lovely man. He took the time to say hello to my cats. He had even brought his own towel to mop his wet footprints off the floor. I was so impressed I asked for his business card for when I'm a home owner one day and need a plumber. For strictly business purposes of course.

I'm feeling so much better

I really should get out more
