FBG this morning = 83. I was looking for it to be a little higher bc of an anxiety flare and I ate a little just before going to bed last night.

Hope everyone is well and please try to enjoy your weekend. Tell those you love in your life who matter how much you appreciate them.

81 this AM- really slept well last night! Needed it. Just went to a bridal shower and had salmon- it was delicious! Cake looked great- don't worry, didn't cave- had the coffee, and it was so good i had 3 cups! The cake had raspberry sauce on it- I'm deathly allergic to raspberries,so that helps curb temptation!

Em and I are chilling out now- she went to daycare and played with the boarded dogs today! She is pooped! I had CarbSmart ice cream bar when i got home, wanted something sweet. Ill get on the treadmill at 5 and kick out 3.5 miles.

Have a great weekend!

68 (3.77) this gloomy, cloudy, showery morning, 71 (3.9) at bedtime.

Another day just like the last 3 or 4, but for the next few nights we'll be dipping down to the high 20'sįF at night. Not quite time yet to uncover my bleeding hearts.

Went to dr yesterday re the sore on my ear. He said he couldn't tell what it was as it had a scab on it. Gave me the choice of freezing it and seeing if that healed it up or doing a biopsy. I was leaning toward the biopsy, but he wanted to try freezing first and if that didn't heal it up, he'd do the biopsy in June at my yearly appt. If it doesn't heal now, when I see my Medical Oncologist in May I will ask him to look at it/do biopsy.

I know I have been saying this every day, but I am truly worried about John. It isn't like him to be MIA this long. Sending prayers his way.

I can understand Freya being quiet, she is in the midst of grieving her friend and most likely just isn't up to posting. Sending prayers your way too Freya.

GrammaB, any chance of that sore being bacterial? i.e. like what happens to people who react to nickel in earrings, especially the pierced ones?

No, I don't think so. It is up at the top of my ear just past where it curls inward(don't quite know how to explain it). It is round like a blister and the skin around it is red. It is better today, but it has done that before too and then reopened. Time will tell I guess.

I do react to nickel, that is why I only wear 14Kt gold or Sterling Silver earrings. But this is no where near my lobes.

Thanks for the thought though.

No BG numbers this morning but wanted to say thank you for cheering me on!

I haven't slept very well, leg cramps. Apparently nicotine is a muscle relaxant. This too shall pass, along with my pimply face, cough, tingly hands and brain fog. I amused my work mates last night when I listed a destination as "Richard" (Richmond).

Take care everyone and carboholic - I won't ask

3 days and 12:32 hours smoke free
