Oooh- Tomm- can't wait to see how you do at hour 2! Now, I'm a 2.5 to 3 hour spiker- slow digestion...so if it is higher at hour 2, test at 3. Those artificial sugar products can be tricky and sneaky!!!

Thanks Mary, Mollie and GrammaB. It went well. They had to go back after the first time and remove some more to get it all but that's normal. Got stitched up and sent home. I have two more to get removed so I go back in two weeks. Guess that's one of the things to expect when you work for years outdoors.
GrammaB, please do get yours biopsied. I have a friend whose dad just kept picking at a sore on his ear and when he finally had a doctor look at it he ended up losing half of his ear and then had to have radiation and chemo. I'm not sure how long he ignored it but I know it was over a couple of years. Kind of scary though.
The last one I had done healed quite fast and now you can hardly see where it was. One benefits of keeping bg low I believe.

Good luck Peter - it's great that you are posting. Now you have goals you will start to feel more in control.

5.9 for me this morning. Not bad after eating out.

Enjoyed the secondary college Jazz Night last night - volunteered on the door, taking people to their tables, drew the raffle prize winners. Always good to watch the progression of students through training, junior, intermediate and senior jazz bands - they are all competing at a jazz festival next weekend.

Enjoy your Tuesday.

Hour 2 was only 95, back to where I was before I ate it, but I didn't test at hour 3. I didn't know they were tricky.

I have to admit, it was so good, I had another as a snack after having a wonderful spinach salad with almonds, bleu cheese, sugarless raspberry dressing and bacon. 2 hours later I'm only at 101.

I'll test again in an hour to see if I spike at hour 3 and let you know.

I am so glad you liked it! I gotta say, it helps me not feel left out at dessert time when I visit my family. Very nice as the hot weather sets in and I'm hanging with my nephew who is 5 (very sensitive to me being diabetic!). I love sugar free popsicles, too.

Here's hoping you stay low!

Right now it's that salad that's trippin my trigger! I so love spinach but have to be careful because it's high in oxalates & I'm kidney stone veteran.
