John, I am glad your meeting went well. Be careful with those "caveats" I hope they are all common sense and not arbitrary rules to CTA (cover their posterior?). And your blood sugar number was very good this morning considering the crisis you have been through. I am pulling for you!

A 103 this morning. Sinus is giving me fits from pollen!

John, so glad you had a successful meeting…you must present a real conundrum for the school's directors.

Cold front passing through so it's only going to by in the low 80s today and windy. Next week it will be in the 100s until late October. Everyone except us locals flee the desert this time of the year.
Proud of you that you accept the trend and will avoid. I spiked today, so am loading the fat and will avoid them, too, for 3 days. It is what it is.

5.7 - a chilly morning but fine and sunny. 2 hrs of fire warden training then down to the park to learn how to use fire blankets and squirt a fire extinguisher AGAIN! Lol!

Now, the next great thing is to get inspiration to address the children...
Well done John - a good outcome and very good of you to be able to empathize about the position of the powers that be. They do have a duty of care to you and the students which can be a tough gig. Hopefully your health will continue to improve and everyone's confidence will return quickly. Enjoy your time with your students, that's what it's all about.

That's one of the same problems I have, with Carbsmart.

Exactly my experience with these delectable treats . . . I literally cannot eat just one. If I buy them, I eat the entire boxful - prob'ly before I ever get home with them, home being about 15 miles from the store.

Again late to post. 70 (3.87) this partially cloudy morning, 78 (4.3) at bedtime.

Been dealing with a sick cat the past few days. Runny stool with blood in it, vomitting, and then he stopped eating. We've been to the vet twice this week already and have an appt for Friday that I can cancel if he gets better. He's had antibiotic shots, anti nausea shots and today he got a steroid and something that will correct the functioning of his colon. The vet could just barely hear any sounds in his gut which should have been growling as I took away his food at midnight last night and the water at 10AM today per instructions. They thought they may be doing ex-rays today that is why no food/water. If the meds don't work Friday will be ex-rays and blood work. Poor guy he is so listless and sad. Add to that he hates getting in the crate!!

@John, sounds like the meeting went the best that could be expected. I hope they aren't having you jump through too many hoops. Hopefully over the Summer break you will get past all this mess you have been going though and be well for the start of the new year.

@tommwatson & Mary, I'm glad none of the stores around here carry Carbsmart products!!
