A late report. Had 5.4 this morning. Just home from Ystad down on the South coast visiting friends. Rain showers and glimpses of the sun and around +15 C. At least no snow down here like in my old hometown Östersund this morning. Sweden may be a small country - about the same area as California, but a long distance from North to South so a varying climate. Glad I´m living down South right now.

63 (3.49) this sunny, partly cloudy morning, 69 (3.8) at bedtime.

61°F under mostly clear skies. May rain this evening which is actually perfect. Mostly sunny days and showers late at night, everything is getting nicely watered w/o me doing any of it!!

Thanks everyone, Boo is about the same today. He is peeing normally so he is drinking and staying hydrated which is good. He just won't eat much. I hand fed him some of his dry food this morning and he ate a bit. I poured "people" tuna liquid over his kitty tuna and he drank a taste of that but not much. He hasn't pooped since Monday evening and that is beginning to get worrisome. If he doesn't improve drastically today and/or early tomorrow, we go back to the vet Friday afternoon for blood work and xrays.

Fingers crossed grammaB that your little fella improves quickly.

A pleasing 5.2 this morning.

Another chilly morning but I think the forecast is for a mostly fine day.

Yay! It's Friday.

Yesterday rained quite a bit and more rain fell down than it did in Jan and Feb combined !!! Every drop counts here.

I stopped antihistamines two days ago. Really hoping this elevated BG thing ends soon. I want my mid-80s FBG back!

Praying for Boo.

79 this morning.

What a terrible afternoon yesterday! My mom and stepfather travel a lot, especially since mom is nearing towards retirement. Oftentimes, they take my grandma with them. She's almost 90 but drives well, is still active (plays cards with the 'girls' every day at lunch at the senior center), and so on. At times, she does walk with a cane just for extra support.

The three of them left early yesterday morning for Las Vegas, which is one of their favorite vacation spots. I got a call later in the afternoon. Grandma's legs started to hurt so they rented her a little scooter that the hotel had. Something happened and the scooter 'jumped' a bit when my mom was trying to turn it around or something, for grandma. Grandma had to quickly move out of the way and lost her balance when she did. She fell and broke her hip, shoulder and wrist. She is having surgery first thing this morning out at the University Medical Center in Southern Nevada. They were supposed to fly home Sunday evening. Their flight has now been rescheduled because the orthopedic surgeon doesn't believe she will be able to fly by Sunday.

Hm ... I just gave myself an idea when I was typing. Since grandma's so far away from home. I think she should have flowers waiting for her, for when she gets out of surgery. )

It's not like I live in the middle of nowhere. I live in the Palm Springs area with three major hospitals and so many people come here to retire. I guess it's because I'm not rich and can't afford the top of the line insurance.
147 this morning.

Tom, it took me a year to get to an endocrinologist here on the opposite side of the country in Connecticut. Also a very affluent area, the local hospital does not even have an endo consult. You may have to travel a bit to find one. Mine's an hour drive.

Back to classes today but with limited teaching schedule and with an assistant in my classroom.

Should be interesting. Naturally, I'll be glad to see the children again!

Oh Mary, I am so sorry! Your poor parents must be stressed to the max.

Oh John, I am so happy you are returning to the children!
