4.4 this morning. Sunny weather and plans for a bike ride today.

A 5.2 (94) for me this morning. More testing to do with the students today as has been the case all this week. Yesterday was a bit stress-filled as I was doing the testing in a new room that didn't have any video playing software installed and Windows Media Player refused to acknowledge a standard DVD. (I'm net even going down that road!). Once I installed VLC, I found that there was also no speaker cable running from the speakers to the computer podium so despite everything, the time allotted was toast and I had to start them on a smaller back-up test rather than the one I wanted them to do.

81 this morning, 84 before bed.

115 this morning.

CD, yet another reason to switch to Mac - strongly dislike Windows Media Player!

Freyagirl, thank you so much! I am indeed suffering some qualities of "drunkeness" from the Neurontin. Dosage is not yet titrated. I'm hoping some of that goes away.

Last night I fell asleep in the middle of dinner, much to the consternation of my wife, who sent me to bed early. Arose late at 4:00am, still wobbly albeit with the decent glucose number posted above.

Some pain relief, but not yet anything to write home about. Today I expect to be better.

Believe I'll be using the new shower this morning for the first time! Such excitement! Sort of wish I'd had the teak bench installed just now.

Oh, rats, my pod just alerted me its occluded - I'd best change it before something awful happens...

145 today.

The weather's insane here, as always. It's 50 degrees one day and 80 degrees the next day, which is what I am guessing spurred my son's cough/head cold. Hoping he's on the tail end of it.

CD - Reading your post, I am reminded of how thankful I am that my teaching is limited to undergraduate and graduate students, online, part-time. FWIW though, if I lived life over, I'd have become a college English professor. A CPA by trade, yet English has always been my true passion. (Shhh, don't tell my boss. ;))

A 104 (5.8) this morning. Not much activity yesterday, unless occasionally moving legs around to get comfortable on long car rides counts.

Someday I will able to figure this out -- a very surprising 73 this morning with a 223 last night (poor choice at a Chinese restaurant) -- go figure...:boxing::D

The same thing used to happen to me, before my D progressed. When I'd go high, I would see almost like a reactive hypoglycemia and then come crashing down. Unfortunately, my D progressed and as it did, I then saw that happening less. It doesn't happen to me anymore, but used to happen quite frequently when I'd eat something that would make me go in the 200+ range.

Tamagno,

I wholeheartedly agree and I personally switched to Macs years ago. Unfortunately, in this new room, there was no way to hook my Macbook Pro to the Audio-visual equipment and the laptop all are supposed to use in that room is a few years old, running a dual-core Celeron processor and Windows Vista! We are forced to use that piece of junk and luckily managed to get through yesterday's botched testing today. It wasn't glitch free however (that I come to expect from any Windows product) as the dvd stuttered its way through the testing and the audio was slightly out of sync with the video (which may have had an affect on the student's ability to concentrate on the dialogue that I will have to take into consideration during the write-up).

136 this morning. Feels like a head cold, all stuffed up. May have something to do with my staying high.
