73 (4.0) this sunny morning, 80 (4.4) at bedtime.

62F right now (~4PM) wispy clouds in the sky. Went down below freezing last night and some of my newly sprouted Bleeding Hearts look a little droopy. I should have recovered them when I saw the prediction. No rain in the forecast until Saturday.

@Msfranxie, my yard is a riot of one color, yellow from dandelions everywhere!!

@Mollie, I am so sorry you are not feeling well. Sure hope the dr can help you tomorrow.

100 today morning. Back to my gestational diabetes diet from today. That had got my FBG to 85. I am going to try that again. eating every 2 hours and spacing out the low carb meals also.

No numbers. I haven't tested myself in quite awhile. I can't focus on my BG while I'm learning to be a non-smoker. Who said women were good at multi-tasking? lol

But I'm sticking to LCHF and not resorting to mints or anything like that. Just plain old cold turkey for me.

Take care everyone.

My love to Freya if you are reading the forum. I hope you are doing okay. xx

176 this morning.

Glad to hear no complications, Henrie. How very fortunate you are! You might want to follow those nighttime numbers awhile to see if you can discern what combination of diet and basal rate needs adjusting.

Barbara, those bleeding hearts are so beautiful! We've two of them that are "double." The corm (rhizome?) is split in two and they produce gorgeous dual blossoms.

My quest to regain independence continues as the world around me maintains its persistence in perceiving me as somehow damaged. I suppose my life-long idea of self-sufficiency may be in some ways flawed, however I continue to crave those few hours alone without others peering at me to reassure themselves I don't keel over or have a fit of some sort. Good grief...

Ouch- 110 this AM, obviously tested right at dawn phenom. I didn't have enough fat at dinner-just wasn't hungry. Hmm.. I think all the corticosteroids, stress, restless sleep, etc, are getting me. Little frustrated, but, I'll rebound. Bump in the road.
