Yeah, we can't trust the food industry to know a safe product if it bit 'em on the behind. Anything that's labeled as diabetic is suspect. Check the nutrition label AND the ingredients, because even if they say it's low or very few carbs, the ingredient list often pops up unsavory ingredients like corn syrup solids, HFCS, hydrogenated oils & other frankenfood additives.

High up on the list for Glucerna (still have an empty bottle) includes corn maltodestrin, fructose, and fructooligosaccharides. Plus several ingredients I couldn't begin to pronounce. Yeesh.

102 up early this morning (forgot to take magnesium tablet yesterday, here come the leg cramps)

Ugh Resty, I have heard about mold getting into the lungs. Praying losing weight and gaining low BG will help drive it out of you!

UGH for reading ingredient lists! The more I read, the more I stick to meat and fresh veggies.

I hate reading labels but should probably do more of it. I agree with you though...more meat, more vegetables. I gotta figure out the low carb high fat thing people here talk about.

Have a super day GSO

Heading off to work but enough time to report my 5.4 (97) for this morning. Have a great day everyone. It's almost the weekend!

164 this morning.

My anniversary is this Saturday. I need to go out today and buy a gift for my long-suffering wife. She's been amazing during this awful year! First stop is the jeweler...
