112 this morning. We're back home. We had an awesome time! It was around 90-100 degrees each day we were there and I was very thankful that the resort where we stayed had a nice pool.

The food was not low carb friendly anywhere we went. It became so much of a hassle to try and find low carb food that it was taking too much time, so I did the best I could while away. A few of the nights, it was really (really) high carb, so I need to get back on the wagon now. I battled constant BG swings - big ones, because of it. The heat, constant walking and constant activity (swimming, roller coasters, etc.) also played a part.

Anyway, as nice as it is to be there, it's always great to be home, too.
Missed everyone, and have a great start to your week!

88 (4.9) this morning. Another day around 92F (33C) with winds ramping up this afternoon and windy for the next couple of days.
@ Hans, not complaining, it's a challenge communicating sometimes when people are scattered around the globe but so rewarding.

@ Tamagno, a new mattress is a wonderful thing and a good nights sleep is golden. Good news on your fasting BG.

@ Mary, it's a challenge trying to stay on target when traveling but glad you had a good time. That's what it's all about.

Snap Patdart- 99 for me, too.

I went nuts and had 2 carbsmart ice cream bars last night, so Im grateful it was under 100.

@Mary- welcome back! You did what you could on vacation, it can be a challenge!
