72 mg/dl very good for me. Hope that its accurate, the precision can look after itself.

197 this morning.

This weekend we have the very unusual feature of dinner invitations both Saturday and Sunday. Naturally, my main objection is the disruption of my beloved routine, however I very much enjoy the company of both parties involved so I'm hoping for the best.

My routine has expanded of late to include the counting of steps I take during the day, the goal being to maximize efficiency. Since I habitually lose track, I've installed a pedometer on my phone to do it for me.

I don't discuss these little personality, um, quirks with my wife, the clinical psychologist, for obvious reasons...

Good morning. 110 today. Looks like it is going to be beautiful day. Going to drop the kayaks in the water and search for the elusive striped bass. Hope everyone has a great day

95 (5.3) this morning after a bad night with sore knees and leg cramps, looking for a better day today. Weather for the next few days looks like it will be in the mid 90's and clear.

Snap, Mary- 99 here, too! Coming down from my airport terminal diet slowly.

Was at the doctor yesterday and when I asked about a new RX's effect on blood sugar- the doctor said, None, but you are Pre, so it's not a concern. I said that the dismissal of low spectrum diabetics is an epidemic in this country and making it a certainty for this group to progress. I told her more doctors need to be harder on this group who can at least manage it and slow or stop progression. This keeps people like me from insurance covering test strips and I should be testing.

...she said "You are 100% right".
