223 this morning.

A busy day today. I think I'll poke around the App Store later to see if I can find another ipad browser - evidently, the new iOS Safari no longer easily closes web pages.

After that, I'm off to the dentist and then the neurologist. Not expecting any surprises from either.

I had 98 this morning after only 5 hours sleep. Friend was here for the night and we stayed up til after 3 and solved most of the world's problems until we saw the time! Gotta have a phlebotomy today and that may make bedtime early today.

10.2 which is very high considering, I did LCHF the day before and only ate lettuce and a few slices of pork for dinner. Add 60 mg of diamicron plus 24 iu of lantus insulin..argh! So frustrating

One of the benefits of LCHF as a way of eating is that you do NOT leave yourself hungry. Your description of what you ate yesterday suggests to me that that is exactly what happened?

Our body fights tooth and nail against starvation and one of its mechanisms is your liver's conversion of glycogen to blood glucose when you are hungry. Sorry, but I suspect that this had a lot to do with your 10.2 mmol/L reading this morning. Please eat - cut back on carbohydrates, keep your protein at a sensible level and make up your energy deficit with good quality natural fats. Eggs, real meat, cheese, cream, butter.....LCHF for Beginners - DietDoctor.com

I continue to eat late, stay up late, not enough sleep, work too much. lol, At least it was my high today, last test was 116 at dinner time, and 117 after dinner. hope to be around the same # in the morning. I'm still pretty new at this, This aint easy! Keep posting your #'s, it's highly motivating to me to see such great #'s every day. I can do better!
