87 (4.8) this morning. Definitely cooler as a cold front goes through and it looks like fall may be here.
I've never done anything Apple, be it phone or computer, not biased but just got started on windows at the start. My phone is a " stupid phone " as it is not able to do anything but make phone calls and I guess text but I never do that. There is no cell service where I live so the only time I can use a phone is when in town or when traveling so I just have it for emergency. All of my internet usage is from my desktop or laptop when traveling and it works well for me. I'm sure it's handy to have constant contact wherever you are but I am glad that I have been able to do without it. I never give out my cell phone number because if anyone called me there is a 98% chance they won't get me. I get the strangest looks when I tell people that I don't have a cell phone. It's just not acceptable to most people now days.

75 (4.15) this partly cloudy morning, 80 (4.4) at bedtime.

@DLC, so nice to see you back!! Glad to hear you are still smoke free and sorry about the bug. Time to jump back on the wagon and start to feel better.

A 97 (5.4) this afternoon. Four more nights (if all goes according to plan at work) and then some time off.

iPhone put out a fix for iOS 8's initial upgrade fiasco, here's hoping it is fixed.

187 this morning.

WalkerWally, I'm often struck by how much we seem to have in common. I too was a Windows person from the start, but gave it up after XP because of viruses, etc. No cell service here either. I do have an Android phone but also don't text or use it much at all - Tracfone sells a pay-as you go deal that costs me very little. I got it because of the bluetooth connection that works hands free in my car for those rare occasions when my wife calls.

Gfaith, your words are kind! My own Little Angels are likely much easier than CDs somewhat older ones. These days it's the parents one must watch for.

100 (5.56) this AM.

Headed out for a Kairos Prison Ministry International meeting in a town about 70 miles west of me. Looking forward to the solitude during the one hour drive. Guess I like my own company (crazy huh)?

KPMI is a Christian faith based group that goes into prisons and brings "God's Love" to residents (inmates) that may have never heard of it. The team will be going into a local prison in November thus we need training and team building.

86 for me today. Had a mild stomach bug yesterday that kept me from eating dinner last night. Perhaps that helped with combating the increase from allergies I've been seeing
