87 (4.8) this morning. Off in a bit for an echo-cardiogram to see how the heart valve is doing. Going to have to have that sucker replaced one of these days.

The biggest lie I tell myself is "I don't need to write that down. I'll remember it"

5.9 (106). Not happy about the recent trending... my next blood test will be on Oct 24; my doctor has told me that if my A1C is as good as or better than the last one, he will have me get it checked every six months instead of every three, so I am wanting to keep the numbers low.

I keep track of my FBG reads on an Excel spreadsheet, including a "Last 7 days" rolling average. Right now that figure is 5.1; on July 18 (the date of my most recent test), it was 6.1... So I probably shouldn't be concerned.

81 (4.48) this cloudy morning, 76 (4.2) at bedtime.

@Tamagno, fingers crossed that you will get a dx today and can start treatment asap.

Isn't it wonderful to waken like that - realizing you've slept so long without any disturbance?

A 5.7 this morning.

I've been going retro lately in my shaving routine by returning to the old school safety razors and lathers. I have to say it has brought much joy into my shaving ritual and I know I'll never go back to disposables and shaving creams in cans.

158 this morning.

Hans, thank you so much for the lesson! I'd imagine you won't find Spanish so terribly difficult.

So, I'd considered a long tirade over my visit with the neurologist yesterday, but have decided to refrain. Simply put, she deferred doing anything or diagnosing anything in favor of sending me to yet another specialist.

I'm now to again wait in hopes the problem will resolve on it's own. Perhaps it will.
