86 this morning after having part of a steak and brussels sprouts for dinner. My guys wanted Chinese food so I had leftovers from the other night.

Well, it was 72 here yesterday and we now have cold, rain and snow in the forecast for the rest of the week and weekend. They are calling for a miserable, horrible Halloween this year. Makes me feel even worse. We were supposed to be actually leaving tomorrow for a short trip to Oceanside, CA for a long weekend. My plans had to change due to unexpected audits at work and now we'll be stuck trick or treating in miserable weather. Ugh.

Everyone have a great week - almost there!

87 / 4.8 this morning. Nice.

I am hearing rumors that cold is returning. The rumors include rain - which we need.

88 / 4.9 this cold morning. It was 58 yesterday morning, it dropped to 38 this morning. I'm dreading January and February.

A 5.2 (94) for me this morning. I have the day off work today so I'm off the find a case for my new iPad Mini, incorporating a good 8km walk into the deal.

114 (6.3).. Kind of high but treated myself to lots of fast sugar yesterday due to one of the few hypos Ii have ever had. It happened about 30 minutes after my Lantus injection and my BG dropped pretty quick to 60 .. It was 108 FBG yesterday and then zoom down she came. So I stayed home and slept knowing a real nice headache was coming my way. All I come up with is that every now and then I hit a large enough surface capillary that gets the insulin in my blood and not into my fat. Oh well, I have only had three hypos in the last year and each was about 30 minutes after an insulin injection. By the way, I do use the smallest injection pens I can find.. WEIRD..

CD if you had a 89 this AM.. this page would have had a cool pattern going. Then a would have sure have messed it up

100 (5.5) this morning. Still having problems sleeping with my knees, oh well.
Mary, if it's any consolation, it's predicted to rain in Southern California this weekend

Last night my wife made me a fat bomb omelet. 5 eggs, heavy whipping cream, salmon, ham, seasoning salt, pepper, and lots of cheese. Two hours after I tested a 101 and this morning a 99.

This morning I leave my garage at 7:30am and I realized I FORGOT MY PHONE!!! I flip a u-turn and I park in front of my house to get my phone. I get out of my car and I see something out of the corner of my eye. It's two deer running straight for me. Luckily, I have Ninja like reflexes and I jumped out of the way. They see me, and take a hard left and shoot across the road.

11:00 pm before bed was 110. I wanted to test my basal by getting up in the night and testing at 2:00 am and then at 4:00 am. I guess blood pressure made me groggy and turned off the alarm at 2 am, rolled over and went back to sleep. At 4 am it was 151, and before breakfast was 171. I made sure I didn't eat anything at least 4 hours before I went to bed. Still feel horrible.
