128! I'm not putting too much credence in this as I forgot to test when first getting up. And did after my first cup of Bulletproof.

6.3 (113)... vision in right eye is at a soft focus, so there is improvement. Not sure whether the slight high is stress from surgery and recovery, or the popcorn I had yesterday afternoon....

A 5.5 this morning. Clear skies and a max temp. of +12 C today. Sun now under the horizon. Clocks one hour back last Sunday. Tomorrow hopefully car back from repair. That´s good. Missed the timetable today, so had to wait nearly an hour for the next bus home. What to do? Very hungry, so waiting indoors at a hot dog stand and a hot dog with bread. Not too healthy, but I was just starving.

That is the way it is when you are retired - a day in life. Nothing really happens, except missing the bus and having a hot dog...

66 (3.65) this dark gray morning, 77 (4.26) at bedtime.

46°F, it rained most of the night, but not sure if there will be more today or not.

89 this morning. Article in New Scientist said maybe artificial sweeteners affected sugar levels. I stopped drinking diet sodas, my numbers went down about 10 pts or maybe more. It's been about 3 weeks or maybe 4. (Still eating LCHF and exercising a bunch, of course)

97 / 5.3 this morning.

I ran a search on artificial sweetener & BG. Apparently a study reported on 17 September is causing quite a stir. Anecdotal reports have always said AS raises BG for some people and not for others.

This study indicates the bacteria in the gut (different for different people) causes very different BG reactions.

Could Artificial Sweeteners Raise Your Blood Sugar?

Looks like this line of study is going to be very productive. Whoo-Ha!
