I got up this afternoon (first night of graveyard shift) a 113 (6.3). BG seemed to yo-yo last night and I tossed and turned most of the day.

Blood sugar was 138 so i got up before the liver dumped it's glucose into my blood stream. I took half the amt of insulin before something told me the insulin resistance would not be as bad. So at 7:am I got up and blood sugar was at 158 . . . ok could have used a tad more insulin. So at 11:00 I tested my blood sugar and it was 201 on my meter. So I went into surgery a little depressed about that, thought it might even go higher cause I"m still fasting. Well the nurse took it before surgery and it was 158 so it went down quite a bit.
Somehow I'm going to use this information to retrain my liver not to dump. and try to decrease the amt of insulin I take, maybe early breakfast and light snacks before lunch. When I get the eye patch off and the information recorded on my spread sheet I will look at that more closely.
Have you had endo help try figure out where the liver refill was coming from?

6.2 (112), sinuses all stuffed up. On the other hand I am finished with the eyedrops from the cataract surgery. (And I am so glad about that -- they taste terrible.)

96 (5.3) this morning, snap my yesterday, LOL. Off in a bit to have X-rays of both my shoulders. Doctors appointment next week. I suspect osteoarthritis is the reason I am having so much pain lately. My knees are doing much better and now this has been causing really rough nights, maybe another bout with cortisone. Just when you think one problem is resolved something else comes along. Well it's not boring anyway.
