75 (4.15) this drizzly morning, 71 (3.9) at bedtime. Woke with a bad headache, not showing any signs of going away. Took an Aleve, but no joy yet.

39įF outside with light rain. The snow is slowly melting, as long as it doesn't come off the hillside across the road too quickly, I shouldn't have any flooding. Did I just jinx myself???

5.7 (103)... and my 30-Day Average has been 5.44 for the last three days in a row, and for 5 out of the last 8 days. Not sure what to make of that...

And it's still cold outside.

I ate my favourite dinner last night; pea-soup. Its an really old norwegian dinner and is basically made of boiling bones from salted and dried lamb (or as I did this time; bone from salted and dried reindeer), a salt pork knockle, the leftovers from a turkey, peas, leek, carrots and rutabaga. I adds lot of thyme and marjoram and let it boil for at least six hours. I boiled it for nine hours yesterday.
I simply love this soup and even if I know it will bring my BG a bit up, I eat it 2 or 3 times a year.
When I went to bed last night my BG was 8,7 (highest reading after dinner was 9,2) and when I woke up this morning my BG was 5,6.

I try to be very focused in my way of eating, but this soup is my soft spot...I cant resist to eat the soup.

Last A1c 5,4

A totally unexplainable (if you disregard DP) 6.7 this morning. I may be coming down with something but as of now, I feel fine.
