I tried to tell the truth. I feel bad for lying to the doc's and I'm afraid some of it is going to affect me some how.
Oh, Roxanne, he's putting you on the spot by not listening to you. If you can't trust him to listen to your concerns, maybe you should look for another doctor.

117 this morning.

CD, I don't envy you those hours, although we're currently similarly afflicted! I hope your dedication is appreciated. The current rumor at my school is that they're adding another teaching day to our week - Monday through Saturday. No raises, naturally...

Twelve degrees here this morning headed down for the day with snow tomorrow.

152 (8.4) this morning after another particularly deep sleep and sleeping in about two extra hours. I missed the -10 deg F dawn temp, but it's gotten up to about 8 above and is nice and sunny. Not sure what my plan to the day is yet . . . which is always nice, doesn't seem to happen very often.

I've thought about it, and I've seen one other endocrinologist and it's seven months wait for a new one. I'll suffer through this one, right now because if I suggest something he will usually go along with it. When I get better control of my blood sugar then I will mention it again that I'm not taking it.

96 (5.3) this morning, same as yesterday. Second day under 100. Temp. 32°F this morning, probably going up to 60° today. I made reservations for Laughlin next weekend for some fun in the sun. Temps. there should be in the mid 70s.

111, a bit perplexing. Yesterday was very LC I'd say 20-25g and 5g of those were from the cream in my BPC and 2 sticks of sugarless gum. Had a late lunch. Dinner was a late snack of sharp cheddar cheese, no light beer, just water. A test shortly before bed at 12:30 was 85.

Had a 5.2 latethis morning after having coffee and slice of lowcarb bread, so no real fasting number.

This Wednesday participating in a stock market discussion club, when I suddenly saw large gray ribbons in my right eye moving up and down. Left the meeting and after about 20 minutes the worst disturbances had disappeared so I went back and attended the discussion again. The next day it got worse so I contacted a nurse on the phone in the evening and she said that I should contact the eye reception. Did that yesterday and examined by a doctor the same day.

The result: vitreous detachment. The the vitreous membrane separates from the retina. Obviously common when you are aging and there was no damage on the retina, which of course was good, but I have to keep an eye on it(!) if gets worse. The spots and gray lines will also disappear, because the eye can adapt to it. As far as I understand those problems are a bit less related to diabetes.

Well, it happened on my 68 birthday, so obviously I am an old man, but I keep my feet on the ground although not 25 anymore I at least feel like 64
