A 93 (5.2) this morning.

A cool 34F now with a high expected of 62F, sunny now turning to partly sunny, 0% rain today but tomorrow is 100%. Start 3 day day shift Friday, sounds like now or never for a bike ride this week.

112 (6.2) this morning. Not sure why I am running higher but I know it's not my diet so but I am sure it will get better.
Cool and clear today, we were covered with clouds all day yesterday. Looks like a chance of rain next week.

134 (7.4) this a.m. Another cold morning in paradise, minus-8 deg F when we woke up. Start of classes for the new semester today--and so it begins.

Your situation sounds very scary. Do take care, and know that everyone is wishing the best for you.

Morning BS 90, higher than I like. An hour after breakfast I was down to 56, then went on a speedy bike ride. Another beautiful morning here. Yesterday a white heron spent a while fishing in our pond. I hope she comes again today.

okay, so here's a question (and apologies in advance for asking it here, let me know if there's a better sub-forum for this) . . .

I am a fairly animated teacher and just gave my first lecture this morning. Took a reading right after class, and my BG had risen to 229 from a 130-ish post-breakfast reading three hours earlier. Fifteen minutes later a second reading was at 230; I figure I'll test every 15-20 minutes to see how long it takes to get back to normal.

Is this something I should address and/or otherwise inquire about at the endo when I see him in March? Hate also to ask this question, but is this possibly an area where some sort of stress-reduction medication might be helpful to avoid such spikes?

I joked with my wife that I need to find another line of work, but that's not gonna happen. just curious what folks' thoughts are here.
