90 today morning. I am having extreme mood swings that get triggered by the slightest of expressions/words. I am really looking forward to this baby but I don't know if I will be able to do justice to both. I am scared, anxious, terrified, petrified, excited, ecstatic, nervous and moody- all at the same time. Not in the best frame to handle a new born right now.

I was chatting with one of my friends who has 2 boys (the younger one is a around 2) and I was telling her that her posts and pics are so pretty and she seems to be doing such a great and perfect job as a mom. She told me that motherhood has its highs and lows which we all capture in posts and pics, but at the end its the persistant plains that make us go crazy at times.

She hit the nail perfectly. I love my kid to bits but I just seem to have nothing to look forward to when I wake up every morning. I am not making sense to my own self now!

152 (8.4) this morning. Thanks Kathryn and Tamagno for your thoughts, I sent an email to the NP in the endo's office (I was overdue anyway with a BP update for her) so I'm waiting to hear what she has to say as well. As far as yoga goes, my wife and eldest daughter regularly do yoga classes, and I'm sure they'd get a kick out of it if I were to try it. One of the keys will be getting back to more rigorous exercise, I fell out of the routine a bit in December following some minor surgery that sidelined me for a while. Anyway--thanks guys.
Jim

Good morning! BS 47 this am, two hours after breakfast BS 74. (Palindrome!) Yesterday I dug up a large bed in the garden and planted half in garlic. Today I will plant the rest of it with garlic, and dig up another to put in potatoes. The weather here is beautiful, feeling so much like spring. I know it will freeze again, but right now it is hard to believe. Hope all is well with you.

98 (5.4) this morning. And the roller coaster in going down hill now. Just hope it continues.
28°F (-2.2 C) this morning, coldest in a while. Chance of rain next week, just have to wait and see, but we sure do need more.

105, higher than my previous 2 days and I'm OK with it. Today looks to be clear, sunny and cold.

Oh, girl, so many of us have been there! It's easy to look at other people and think everything is working for them, and by comparison nothing is working for us. But of course, we are all just doing the best we can...and I bet you, too, are doing the best you can. There is no perfect mom, but you will be the best mom for your baby because you are his/her mom. Already you are holding and protecting this unborn child in spite of D; you are already giving so much. A lot of people you don't know (like me) care about you and value you. Take are of yourself!

Kathryn MC- your words mean such a lot. I probably am just panicking because of my delivery being so near now. Handling my son has just become easier (I should not jinx it) and he is the most perfect, lovable, kind and awesome kid I can think of. I worry about not being able to do justice to him with a newborn in the house- though I know that its amazing to have a sibling bond in life and people tell me that its a gift I will be giving him.

Since I changed my user name to carbcrazydog, my dog seems to be doing everything to live up to the name. The moment I am tempted to have anything that has more than 10 carbs in it, she just magically appears with her "you wont share that with me" look in her eyes!

Had a 5.2 this morning. Today a car drive across the bridge to Kastrup airport in Denmark. My ex´s daughter departing to Paris to meet her cousin. I did some shopping and like most Swedes in Denmark buying liquor to a lower cost and unlike in Sweden for sale in every grocery store, whereas in Sweden much more restricted and a state monopoly and for sale in special stores.

Visiting a very big mall and had lunch. Instead of having typical Danish dishes visiting KFC for the first time in my life, but obviously KFC is gradually opening in Sweden too. Had a chicken salad.

As for my eye problem - still some trouble, but better when I focus far away.

My ex took some pictures crossing the strait - bridge, artificial island and tunnel :

2 Down in the tunnel
