138 (7.6) this morning. Later today we're going to my older daughter's high school indoor track meet, held at Ithaca College. This is her senior year and one of the last track meets, she and her teammates are one second away from the school indoor record for 4x4 relay . . . meaning they each need to shave a quarter second from their individual time.

Truly a game of inches. Maybe tonight's the night.

93 (5.2) this morning. Interesting how it ran high, fasting and all day, for a couple of days and then dropped yesterday and ran good all day. Just one of those things I guess, the liver remains in charge.
Getting ready to leave for the weekend for fun in the sun and good eats. I have done quite well at the restaurants there before so shouldn't have any problem. Warm weather and walks along the Colorado River.

176. Ate bacon and eggs with coffee, creme and decided to take a humalog free day. I'll let you know in about an hour if I decide to stick to it. I feel like a 62 year old pregnant woman.

98, Going to see the Jazz play tonight. It's their third game in three nights and last night they played in Milkwaukee so who knows how much energy they will have.

Shot up Lantus only last night and then again this am and blood sugar is and even keel 175 since i woke up. Finally for lunch, i gave myself 4 units of humalog for correction and 6 more units for lunch meal.
So all in alll, I know basal is right, and it looks like the amt of humalog is right. Geez I don't want the insulin.

A 5.6 this morning. Still waiting to hear about the job. The other admins have been busy with registration of new students etc and I've been helping out so I know they haven't had time to even look at the applications. I was told that they would do so this coming week and to be prepared to be called to an interview. It's been such a roller coaster of hope and despair this past week and a half. I'll be glad when they make a decision either way.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
