Mary, we might be in the company of a fearless Robin Hood, Chuck Norris or..... can it be...James Bond?

70 (3.87) this cold morning, 83 (4.6) at bedtime.

Still very cold and clear. The dang clear part of that is what is keeping it so cold!

@Mary, snakes scare the heck out of me too. And the bad thing is I have a den of them on the side of my drive way right near the creek. They swim in the water.... They are harmless as far as venom goes, but I hate seeing them slithering across the concrete! I live in fear that they will take up residence under my house! Didn't see any this summer, I had my yard people overturn the rocks piled on top of the den last year, so maybe they have moved on.....

Got my netrition order today. Ordered the Great Low Carb Bread Co. hotdog and hamburger buns and another pkg of bagels. The ingredients are the same for all things so don't expect any surprises. I also decided to revisit Mama Lupe's Tortillas. I could eat them for a while early on in my d journey, then they didn't work. It has been a long time since then and my control is even better, so thought I'd give them another go. I hope they will work because my package of 10 had 13 tortillas in it!! Will try them tomorrow for lunch.

4.2 this bright sunny morning. Temps on the rise so beginning to feel that Summer is on the way.

Isn't it strange that snakes can be discussed by men in such a subjective manner yet the mention of them gives women the heebie jeebies. I'm sure Dr Freud had something to say about that!

Pat, don't delay in getting more antibiotics if your chest is still bad, another dose might be needed to get rid of the infection. Stay warm and relaxed.

Last night of graveyard shift tonight, slept a little better today but still not great. FBG this cold cloudy wet afternoon is a 97 (5.3). Missed all the freezing precipitation last night. Just started raining right before I got off this morning and ice was forming on the glass with icicles hanging from the mirrors.

97 today morning. i exercised yesterday- 40 minutes on the treadmill and had a cheese cube and a few walnuts as i was really giddy and hungry after the workout.

I am going back on myfitnesspal and really really watching what i eat from now on. I have realised that i dont even crave carbs anymore. i just have them because i am bored and have nothing else to do. Not a good sign. I hate my BG number but i hate my lack of willpower even more.

My in-laws are here for my son's birthday. Its a full house with lots of noise and shrieks and laughter.

I know this week i may have some messed up meals, esp with my son's bday and all and the party. But i a still going to think twice, thrice and yet again before putting a CARB in my mouth!

Wouldn,t a High Fat diet lead to Heart Attack or Stroke.?

I take it that LCHF means - Low carbohydrare High Fat.

The myth of bad fats was a hoax to begin with, and it has been disproven over and over again since it was foisted on the public back in the 1950s. Natural saturated fats are good for us - if you just think about it, our own body fat is natural saturated fat, so how could it be harmful? Here is a post with several supporting studies:

Studies confirming efficacy of LCHF

4.7 this morning. Sunny and -3 C ( 27 F ).
Darcy, it is high blood sugar levels that cause damage, not natural fat. Read and study. Ok, one of my old posts again:
