Gramma, I think with the free spice in the catalog each month (can get with orders online), I may have all Penzy spices soon. This month's is cumin. I LOVE their cinnamon!

91 this AM- the Dulera for my lungs has had me up a bit, but it is worth it.

Massage this morning- cannot wait!!

Emmie had me up at sunrise- the IBD is flaring. Poor pup. We are a pair! LOL!! She is sleeping on me now, her medication is starting to kick in. I'll snuggle with her for a few more hours!

89 for a FBG.

Ready to get the day started. I was able to sleep in until 6:50 this morning (woo whoo!) since it's the weekend. Busy day - my husband's birthday is today so we'll be celebrating this afternoon at our home, with family. The weather's supposed to be around 80 and sunny for the next three days, so we should be good to go!

Everyone enjoy Saturday. I am totally looking forward to a bit of relaxing time at the party later today. It was a really long week.

- On a side note, due to the time change & seasons changing, I am looking out my front picture window to see the sunlight hitting through the trees onto my front lawn so perfectly. It is so serene and calming. I wish I could put it in my pocket and carry it around with me! :D

Yesterday morning after getting off work, just a 2 hour nap and not fasting, I had a 120. Eating nothing after getting up but having 2 cups of bullet proof coffee, 10 hours later at 8 PM a 93. This morning, a 107 (5.9) and 2 hours hours of dozing back off after waking at 6 AM.

71 (3.9) this cloudy rainy morning, 81 (4.48) at bedtime.

68°F right now and very cloudy. It rained quite a bit this early morning, form the looks of the sky, could see some more. Still under flood watch but shouldn't be anything near me this time.

@Mollie, Yes! Their cinnamon is the best!! I just got my newest catalog too. Ground cumin was actually on my list! But I think I will be ordering a bag of it and use the coupon from the last catalog to get the free Fajita seasoning. I have been craving Mexican food for a while! I have a ton of their spices. I always order the smallest size the first time just to be sure I like it.

@Mary, so glad you are getting a chance to rest and relax. Enjoy the celebration!

156 this morning.

Lots of heavy rain here with thunderstorms and temperatures predicted in the 80s next week.

Preparing myself for the great statin debate with a couple of my docs - I now know two men who've had muscle wasting of the gastrocnemius from the drug, both doctors themselves.

The dementia question appears to have been resolved, the result of a large study conducted at Johns Hopkins.

Hoping that increased activity this summer will help resolve my PAD and take the issue off the table!

82 mg/dL (4.5 mmol/L) yesterday and 79 mg/dL (4.4 mmol/L) today.

Mixed forecast today--thunderstorms with rain and hail, clouds and sun, 67F (19C) degrees. Not so great for the big annual cookout with folk dancing friends. Lots of musicians, singing, some dancing, lots of fun, plenty of food for every possible diet.

Hope the forecast is better wherever you are. :)

91 this morning. Grocery shopping, working, and playing throughout the day should do it for today. It is supposed to be another nice day here in Ohio. I am still trying to enjoy the long weekend but trying not to fall too far behind at work.

Now if only I could get rid of all of these thousands and thousands of nasty midges that have attached to the front of my house and garage overnight. They've been here for a few days now and they can't leave soon enough. I've been living close to or right at the water for my entire life (all in Ohio) and I have never gotten used to them. Nasty little irritants.

70 (3.87) this partially cloudy morning, 88 (4.87) at bedtime.

72°F with some clouds and light wind. Possibility of rain late night and tomorrow morn, with thunder storms Monday afternoon.

Making some of Gizmo's baked beans for dinner tonight. Can't decide what to have with them, either chicken thigh, lamb chop, or a nice fat organic grass fed uncured beef frankfurter.

Hope everyone enjoys the weekend!
